December Update

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Leaving Cambodia was a very bittersweet moment in our ministry. After 2 ½ years of working in country, we were ready to travel home to the United States for a time of rest and to wait for the arrival of our baby. However, it was very difficult to have to leave all of our brothers and sisters with whom we have worked and prayed and bonded together over the past years. In the picture to the left, you can see our final picture in Cambodia before we travelled into the airport terminal. To view more pictures of our activities since we have been home click here, or on the 2008 Gallant Photos link on the right hand margin to read about these events.

As said before, the greatest event that we are looking forward to is the birth of our first child in December. Tiffany and the baby are doing well, and we are trying to get ready for something that people continually tell us that you are never quite ready for, parenthood. We have been blessed by our friends and family as they have held several baby showers for Tiffany, providing us with some of the necessary items and clothes that our new daughter will need. For the remainder of the month of December and then into January, we will be in Ohio, waiting for the baby and celebrating the holidays with our families.

After the birth of our daughter, we will then begin traveling around the United States to report to our supporting churches. We will begin to travel in the month of February, speaking in Indiana and Ohio. In March and April, we are scheduling churches in Michigan, New York, Virginia and Florida, and then at the end of April and then into May, we will be traveling again to the Dakota District to share with our many churches in that area of the country. Please pray that our schedule would meet our need to connect with our churches in the time available for our home ministries. Pray also for our young daughter, that she would follow in the steps of her mother and father who love to be on the road, telling of the goodness of God.

Thank you again for your interest in our ministry, both in Cambodia and here in the United States. Please continue to visit the blog, and we promise to upload pictures of the baby as soon as she is born.

In Christ,
Tim, Tiffany and Baby Girl Gallant
