We spoke at Hillside Wesleyan Church this weekend, and God blessed us so richly while we were there. The story of how we happened to have the opportunity to speak was a miracle in itself. While we were traveling around New York, we stopped to speak to Pastor Long, and he just happened to be planning the Missions Conference. We were scheduled to speak there that day, and we had just met. It was a great blessing from the Lord, and we know that God blessed our times of sharing as well, speaking through us and moving the hearts of the people in the congregation about God's mission to reach His lost people overseas. Quiz Time!

Quiz Time: Which country's flag is shown here? Answer in the comments section below to receive a special Cambodian prize in the mail! Remember to leave your name, address, and phone number.

We were very privileged to be a part of Hillside's Missions Conference. One of the highlights was the Parade of Flags that was done by the children of the church. The woman pictured here, Carolyn Smith, assembled the flags of all of the countries in which Global Partners has missionaries. Some flags she had, others she made herself. It was very touching to see so many flags brought into the sanctuary, knowing that the Message of Jesus Christ has been brought to so many countries. Posted by Hello

We were also blessed to be presented with a large Cambodian flag that Carolyn had made for the conference. Thank you, Hillside Wesleyan, for making the weekend so memorable. Posted by Hello

One of the great joys that Tiffany and I have when we speak to churches is meeting the youth of the church. We were able to share with the Middle and High School classes at Hillside Wesleyan, and we had a great time telling them about being a missionary, what it is like in Cambodia, and how important a relationship with God is in their lives. Posted by Hello

When we went to Olean, NY, we were coming off a week where we had been very busy, running from one event to another. We had hardly spent any time together. We usually stay with a family from the church when we speak, and were disappointed when we found out that we would be staying in the parsonage by ourselves. However God knew what we needed for when we arrived, we found these baskets, one full of food and another consisting of toiletry items, like we were at a spa or retreat. It was a great weekend and we were able to speak to the congregation and spend some time together as well. Thank you Hillside Wesleyan Church. Posted by Hello

The baskets were gifts from women on the missions committee, and they made us feel very special and appreciated. God also met our fellowship needs by allowing us to visit several different families in their homes where we had a wonderful time in conversation. Thank you Eric and Betty Lundberg for More than Bread, we had a great time at your house. Also, thank you to David and Jody Joseph for allowing us to come to your house. We had a wonderful afternoon with you and Tiffany is practicing all the sign language that you taught her. We felt very privileged to have the opportunity to fellowship and share with these brothers and sisters in Olean, NY. Posted by Hello

Tiffany and I had a great time at East Aurora Wesleyan Church’s Missions Fest, and one of the highlights of the entire evening was the food. The people of the city of Buffalo have certain foods that are unrivaled around the rest of the United States, and the pizza and wings at this Missions Fest made it exceptional in our minds.
